Welcome to the SMS Alumni Network. By joining and participating in our alumni platform, events, and activities, you agree to the following terms and conditions.
1. Membership & Eligibility
• Membership is open to individuals who have successfully completed training, courses, or programs organized by Sustainable Management System Inc.
• Members must provide accurate and up-to-date information during registration.
• The Alumni Network reserves the right to verify eligibility and decline or revoke membership if false or misleading information is provided.
2. Purpose of the Alumni Network
The SMS Alumni Network exists to:
• Strengthen connections among alumni across industries and regions.
• Share knowledge, career opportunities, and collaborative initiatives.
• Organize reunions, mentorship, community service, and networking events.
• Promote solidarity, mutual assistance, and contributions to society.
3. Events & Participation
• Alumni events may include reunions, workshops, seminars, or community initiatives.
• Some events may require advance registration and participation fees.
• Members are expected to uphold SMS values and behave respectfully at all events.
4. Data Use & Privacy
• By joining, members consent to their submitted information being used for alumni purposes such as directories, networking, and emergency support.
• Blood Bank Directory: Members acknowledge that specific personal details (such as city and mobile number) may be displayed publicly in the Blood Bank Directory to enable emergency contact during urgent medical needs.
• Data will not be shared with unrelated third parties without consent, except where required by law or for event facilitation.
• The Alumni Network follows its Privacy Policy in all cases.
5. Code of Conduct
• Members must act with respect, professionalism, and integrity in all alumni interactions.
• Harassment, discrimination, or misuse of alumni data is strictly prohibited.
• Violations may result in suspension or removal from the network.
6. Payment Terms
• Event participation fees, where applicable, must be paid in full before attendance.
• Payments are generally non-refundable unless the event is canceled by the Alumni Network.
• Any third-party payment processors used must also be complied with by members.
7. Intellectual Property
• All content, logos, designs, and materials shared under the SMS Alumni Network remain the property of Sustainable Management System Inc. or respective rights holders.
• Members may not reproduce, distribute, or use Alumni Network content for commercial purposes without prior written consent.
• Personal content shared by alumni (such as profiles or photos) remains the property of the individual but grants the Network permission for non-commercial use in alumni-related activities.
8. Liability Disclaimer
• The Alumni Network will take reasonable measures to ensure safe events.
• However, it is not responsible for personal injury, property loss, or damages arising from participation.
• Members participate at their own risk.
9. Amendments
• The SMS Alumni Network reserves the right to amend or update these Terms & Conditions at any time.
• Significant changes will be communicated via official alumni channels.
• Continued membership or event participation constitutes acceptance of updated terms.
10. Acceptance of Terms
• By registering or participating in the SMS Alumni Network or any of its program, events, you confirm that you have read, understood, and agreed to these Terms & Conditions.
